Our Mission
WaveClean.org’s mission is to combat ocean pollution by integrating advanced technology, grassroots activism, and education to create lasting solutions. We aim to protect marine ecosystems, repurpose ocean waste into valuable resources, and inspire global communities to take collective action for a sustainable future.
How it started
WaveClean.org is a project by NF Horizon, an organization established in 2015 with a vision to drive meaningful change through innovative community projects. Our journey has not been without challenges; prior to WaveClean, we faced setbacks, including an unsuccessful attempt to secure funding for converting a dilapidated chateau into a community center. This failure, however, taught us resilience and underscored the importance of perseverance.The idea for WaveClean.org emerged from this renewed determination to make an impact. Witnessing firsthand the alarming degradation of coral reefs, the rise of plastic pollution, and the disappearance of vital marine species, a group of marine biologists, divers, and environmentalists joined forces. What began as a small initiative to clean beaches and educate coastal communities evolved into a global movement. WaveClean.org now stands as a central hub where individuals from all walks of life can unite to protect and restore our seas.
